Rathaus

Munich. Had a good trip this morning. The airport is impressive, at least the covered square outside! We took a train into the centre and on the way chatted to a couple of young people. I was trying to work out how to say right and left! They were charming!

Took us a while to find the hotel but it’s fine! I’ve asked for a kettle!

Then a walk into the centre. This is the townhalland we ate in the Ratskeller, underneath it! A great place full of alcoves. We both had the Wiener schnitzel which came with its own salad. Must admit that it was very filling and we didn’t have a sweet!

Back to the hotel and on the way the heavens opened and we were soaked!! Very hot in the room so soon dry . Now to work out what we do tomorrow!
