Nostalgia

This is Knotts Road Todmorden.    The house where I was born was on the right of the picture, demolished a number of years ago.   There were no trees on the opposite side (on the left of the picture) so the view was open down into the valley.    How things have changed.   We then paid a visit to the local pub' - The Staff of Life - (extra) where a number of old photographs of the area are on display.   A very nostalgic afternoon.
