Book Signing

We went to Central Library, Dundee this evening to hear Sally Magnusson in conversation about her first novel, The Sealwoman’s Gift. It is based on a 17th Century event when 400 Icelanders were abducted and taken by sailors to Algiers. Among them was a Pastor, his wife and Family.

Sally, a very well known Journalist and TV presenter (whose father was Magnus Magnusson) gave us a spell binding insight into the story and how she wove historical fact and her storytelling.

It was a wonderful evening and she signed our copies of the book afterwards, taking time to answer our questions.
