Lest we forget...

My son was playing football this morning and they scheduled the kick off so that they could hold a minutes silence before the kick off fro the 2nd half.
Watching the 2 teams respectfully keep the silence, in a beautiful peaceful Kentish landscape, really struck home. The fields of northern France are not so different and on a cold morning, it does make you very grateful for their sacrifice.
