Stuttgart 21

Trip to Stuttgart. Max wanted to have a look for model train stuff. I wanted to have a look at the progress of Stuttgart 21. Stuttgart is rebuilding its terminus train station into a through station by moving it underground. Unsurprisingly lots of people are unhappy. It's expensive and disruptive. I think it will be worth it in the end. We shall see. Stuttgart is a funny place, some things haven't changed at all, others have. We bought lunch in the indoor market (see extra) which is absolutely spectacular.

In the evening we caught up with my aunt and uncle and my cousin and her family.
