Seeking the shade

I finished clearing the courtyard before the sun came round in the morning and then did a bit of shopping. It is far too hot to sit on the veranda even with the windows open so I took my chair Into the corner of the courtyard by the irrigation channel. It is pleasant listening to the water flowing and, as the water is cold coming down from the mountain, it has a cooling effect.
