Play date

We spent today with my best friend at her parents house.  The children all played together so beautifully, her slightly older children looked after my boys very nicely - even with their jet-lag.  

I got to spend the day chatting away to my friend and catching up with her parents, there is something very reassuring seeing the parents of friends who you have known for decades. 

The boys were asleep within 5 minutes of getting in the car to come home after supper, long day with people they don't know.  A long sleep tonight for them.
