Poorly

I have developed a very sore foot which required me to go the the local casualty department on my way through Dunoon today. It now seems likely that I was bitten by something on Saturday when we were at the outdoor Opera by the lake. So I am now on antibiotics with an instruction to rest.

Rula is also poorly - driving through today we became convinced she had something stuck in her throat and it was so alarming that Cathleen dropped me at the hospital and then took her straight to the vets.

It turns out she has kennel cough , though she has been inoculated against it , and she was very poorly for most of the day though she has perked up a bit this evening.

Cathleen is , thank goodness, fine....
