Wild

One consequence of the building work that is going on along West Bowling Green Street out the back of our building is that the path down to the Water of Leith has been seriously neglected this year. As a result, it's gone quite wild, which will have been great in terms of providing habitat for wildlife. It's also quite pretty and countrified... in the city.

Went down that way twice today - first to go shopping at Ocean Terminal, for some necessary stuff for the trip, and second to go to the King's Wark for dinner. We've pretty much succeeded in running the fridge to zero, so it made more sense to eat out this evening.

I'm sure I've forgotten stuff, but overall I feel relatively well prepared...
