The Nacho Snatcher
After a very busy day yesterday, daughter asked if today could be a 'chill out day', and wife and I were happy to go with that suggestion.
Yesterday we were at a sponsored Zumbathon for the charity I am involved with. I was on photography and video duties, an incredibly tricky event to shoot, lots of action, lots of waving arms and legs. The participants did a great job, 2 and 1/2 hours non stop and they raised a tremendous amount of money.
Lunch and then a bit of editing before we headed out to the kids football end of season presentation night. Again, photography duties getting shots of players receiving their trophies. A fun night.
So today, has been a lot more relaxing, long lie - woke up at half ten. Realised I only got to sleep that long because wife and daughter catching up on X Factor from last night. Remembrance service, bit telly, homework, housework, editing and then we decided to make nachos for mid-afternoon snack!
This shot is a bit of a fluke. It was shot blind, me holding camera against wall on the kitchen worktop and turning it towards the nachos. Was hoping to get daughter's hand grabbing one, but end result was much better.
I am away to get ready to play football, wife and daughter away to make scones. If every Sunday was like this, I would have few complaints!
