Graduating preschool

Not something I feel is necessary and all a bit American but Anya enjoyed the ‘ceremony’ and singing.
This was the second graduation celebration as she had her nursery one yesterday. I did feel slightly emotional as it all feels very final as she leaves to begin her next chapter at ‘big school’

As I went to give her a kiss lastnight on my way to bed she mumbled in her half asleep voice “I’ll always be your baby Mummy,” followed by “I was your first baby.”
I’m not sure where it came from but I felt myself welling up. I squeezed her a bit tighter than normal as she lay back down to sleep.
