Goats!

The county 4H fair is over and the reality on the farm is that many animals will be sold. I went.to take photos of this years heifers and steers because, before long, they'll be gone. This year's crop was one of my favorites so I think I might like to paint their portraits.
We went out to the goat lot to photograph a spectacular man goat. When the herd saw Bryan, they came running full speed. Alas, he had no grain so they lost interest pretty quickly. Everybody took turns scratching their butt on the fence and then wandered off for greener pastures. Me, too.
