These old boots

I received these boots from my parents as a Christmas gift in 1987.
They were an important part of my life and identity. I wore them everyday for years and years, even after the soles had cracked all the way through (on both).

I just found them the other day and smiled."My Boots!!"
I put them on and felt 15 again and strong.
