Ampitheatre
We've lived in this area for 21 years and this is the first time I've visited the site of the Corinium (Cirencester) Roman ampitheatre. It was built in the 2nd century AD as a stadium for sport and entertainment. It is estimated it could have held up to 8,000 people! It must have been impressive with all the tiered seating in place, but of course sadly none of that remains today. I've jazzed it up a bit to tag it for Abstract Thursday - Sportive.
There is a bonus abstract as an extra, non-sportive though. I'm running out of extras - am I right in thinking old ones can be deleted, I've seen a few other blippers say they have done that.
