Home Sweet Home ...

.... but only for about 6 hours ... L to attend a hospital appointment, me to check the house and the state of the garden.

I watered .... just at the roots of the plants but it's so hot that I spent most of the afternoon inside. I do miss the coastal fresh air.  L will be here shortly and we'll be on our way again.

The garden is certainly not lush and green .... much pruning and tidying up needed but I can't do those things at the moment ... the gardening boys are due next week so things should look better by the time I come home (to stay) on the 28th.

My astrantias are continuing to flourish despite their
lack of water.

The sooner I can get back to driving myself the better!
