Back from the Dead

I was rather heavy-handed with the pruning shears on the hydrangeas a couple of years ago and thought I had killed them off, as there were very few flowers last year.

However, they have just been resting and gathering strength as they have now come back from the dead and are blooming their socks off:-)  They are both grown in identical soil, but one is pink and the other is blue and they both change colour as they age.  So pleased I didn't manage to kill them off:-)

Lots more boxes packed today and the house is looking really bare now, especially since the pictures have come down from most of the walls.  I will look forward to seeing them again on the other side:-)
