Water bottle

At residential school last week a student asked where he could fill his water bottle. I gave him directions to a water fountain which was a bit of a schlep and I pointed out that he'd pass the Gents which has taps in the sinks. He looked aghast at the idea of drinking "unfiltered water" and then said it was okay for me because I'm a northerner.........
