An outing in the woods

Today was the annual blueberry picking trip to the old Iron Age hillfort. It has become a tradition every year about a week afte r my birthday we go up there, pick and eat wild blueberries, return mouths and fingers blue. There is usually enough left for some jam and freezing.
This year it’s been so dry that it as not worth picking. They were only a few and they were reallly small and a bit dry. Still tasty though! But no jam or muffins tho year. Nice spending a afternoon with my daughter, can you spot her in this picture?
