Giddy Thurs

The weekend starts here. I've worked hard to complete a draft of an important piece of work by close of business today, as I'm taking a long weekend. As well as that I've been embroiled back into supporting the Liberia project, which is energising, but could become all-consuming.

It didn't take much convincing to get me to Revolution, for a post-work drink on their rooftop. Gins are 2-for-1 on Thursdays so I duly knocked back these offerings. I was slightly giddy as a result, and managed to boil some soup and sober up with large chunks of baguette.

I was also giddy at lunchtime after spending it with Elizabeth. She's always enough to get the pulse racing and synapses sparking.
