Crispy, crunchy

Monday/Tuesday's snow has developed a crispy, crunchy topping! Trudging through it when it is at least a foot deep is hard work, but good for the old thigh muscles!

Lovely morning today spent with Grace at her friend Sebastian's house. Three of her other toddler friends and their mums were there too, so we all had a good natter. It was the first time Grace has been away from the farm for almost a week because of the snow and ice, so she appreciated the company today. Beautiful day! None of the latest batch of snow that has plagued southern areas of the UK has reached us (yet). I've been called into work tomorrow morning to do some supply teaching, which will be useful to add to the oil heating fund - we've used half a tank in just over a month. Shocking, but we can't let Grace get too cold.
