View from the Till
Rained gently until mid-afternoon, and you could almost feel the plants heaving a sigh of relief! At least it was warm rain!
Spent most of the day sorting out a portfolio of our instruments, ready for the Glendale Festival on Sunday and the forthcoming folk festivals. Photos in place, just need to add descriptions, but that's a job for tomorrow, as well as preparing photos for a display board. MrM still has a lot to do in the workshop, so our planned outing to Lindisfarne Castle has been put on hold for a couple of weeks.
Not much left in the fridge, so we went down to Alnwick for a supermarket shop, and also bought a couple of display boards. Surprised to find that it had hardly rained there. We stopped half way back for a short walk down a footpath to the River Till - some good views of the Cheviot, and also of these hills near Branton. (Don't know what they're called.)
