Ålesund

We camped by the sea not too far from Runde and watched the cloud come down on the hills and it was still like it in the morning. When we looked out of the van in the morning there was a sea eagle sat on a rock about 30 metres away; amazing. We then drove to Ålesund and parked in the campervan parking, (250 Krone for 24 hours), which is right in the middle of town. Ålesund is an attractive wee place and we set off to explore. Sadly it was really Baltic until mid-afternoon, so we ate our lunch in a shopping mall as it was warm in there. Everyone goes up the 418 steps to the hill above town as it has a great view, so we joined the crowds and that’s where the blip was taken.
