Hen Pheasant.

For a few days we have been experimenting with "the mate's" trail camera.  It is fascinating what it reveals about the goings on in a garden.  Hedgehog which we knew nothing about, the antics of a family of jackdaws not to mention the visiting Main Coon cat.

Today I took very few other shots so decided this of one of our local hen pheasants was the most interesting.  The other thing about the trail camera is the subjects seem to do things you don't see when pointing the camera.  I have never seen the hen pheasant ruffling her feathers to this extent even when she doesn't know I am watching.
