How big this kid got in the course of year 3! She’s grown about 3 inches, mainly in her legs, has gained front teeth, and has hair down to her waist.

She’s had a brilliant day. She was delighted that her favourite TA gave her a Goblet of Fire necklace when she gave her a Harry Potter poster. They’ve been harry geeks together this year and loved it. She was though very sad to say goodbye to her desk partner from orchestra.

We did some visiting after school, I took her with me to visit one of our elderly congregation at home whod had a funny turn at the weekend. We have a couple of elderly and much loved folk with differing extents of concerns at the moment, so it’s bringing a few questions. Seeing T was a positive experience for her I think. He’s the least sick so it wasn’t too uncomfortable for her but showed her the challenges even answering the door can be. But she watched the difference that having someone stop by made to him in the course of our visit. And she saw how much he wanted someone to talk to, the importance of that time.

We went out for tea, nothing but posh but enough to acknowledge the start of the holidays (hooray for Morrison’s kids eat free deal, both fed for a fiver). She insisted on a schools out selfie!

She had dance rehearsal tonight. She was flagging on the journey there, and has just been too tired to do any music today, apart from fun playing & exploring on the piano. But she was bouncing and full of it when she came out. She’s delighted that this all is bringing holiday dancing for her a couple of extra times!
