Back again

Up early and drove down south (again!). Another smooth but long journey. Briefly popped in to see AR and Mx just before they went down for their nap. Mx crawling more, even since last weekend, and pulling himself up on the furniture now. Nothing’s safe!
H and I chatted over tea and some cake then I came over to T&K’s and we did some gardening, mowing and strimming and deadheading. All their pots and hanging baskets are looking lovely but they’re having to do a lot of watering and the grass is suffering from the long dry spell.
T made a lovely dinner of roast lamb and roasted veg then when he went off to work K and I chatted as she made some more origami cranes for the wedding (I was supposed to help but way too difficult!)
Just before bedtime the rain started....lovely to hear that noise after so long!
