Day 104: Remembrance Sunday

Headed to the Memorial Gardens in York for their Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service. Was both lovely and appropriately sad. Popped into York Chocolate Story afterwards- surprisingly empty - apparently there are people who believe chocolate is not an appropriate lunch food !?! Fortunately, I'm not one of those people. After a lazy lunch, took in the views of York from the top of Clifford Tower before heading back to the van. No Downton Abbey this evening - feeling bereft. Will have to make do with Strictly Come Dancing results. Sigh.
