Toad in the Hole

We have a toad. He's (or she's; I'm no expert) been resident in the garden for a little while but is elusive; we occasionally get a glimpse but not often. Today I moved something and there he was hiding underneath; I immediately thought 'Blip' so headed off for my camera but by the time I got back he had crawled into this little hole to hide. I still managed a shot so here he (or she) is.

I confess I've turned the shot by 45 degrees; he was actually standing upright but it's easier to see this way round.
