miles and miles

Great walk on the hills today with Mr Rat and a friend. The day didn't start auspiciously as there was very low cloud and drizzle but nearer the hills it was better and they soon cleared to give increasingly long sunny intervals. It was pretty warm so it was good to be up high with a breeze. 
We did a 15 mile circuit from Glen Doll taking in 2 Munros and a few lesser tops and with lots of different terrain to walk on, there wasn't much evidence of yesterday's rain.
The extra is of the 3 of us on the 2nd Munro with Lochnagar in the background.
Once down we arrived at the hotel just in time to get served (outside) as they were fully booked for the evening and weren't doing any bar meals after 6pm. The service was quick, though, and the food good.
