She's a carnival

It's 11 November; time for Remembrance, but also time for preparations for Carnaval to begin.

Tonight there was a party on Willemsplein. In the bottom right-hand side of the photo, one of the Princes is trying to get it on with a ladyfriend. Shame he took his wonderful hat off just as my shutter released ....

Oh, and today, after a lot of trial and effort, I managed to hang up an outside lamp. Well done, me, I think.
