We will remember them.

Somehow, it doesn't rain on rememberance. day, at least not in the morning. I was particularly touched today whilst playing at the cenotaph in Newtongrange. The park is next to the football training fields and the kids were making a lot of noise when the parade arrived for the service. I was slightly put out but it's a personal choice whether you participate or not.

After a minute I noticed everything had gone quiet and turned to see (completely unscheduled) rows of boys between about 6 and 14 lined up behind us, hands behind their backs not making a sound.

Whether it was their idea or the coaches I don't know but they were so respectful and well behaved for the 15 minute service. It was just really nice to see.
