Chickpeas galore!

A morning jaunt up to Lake Capilano to see the Cleveland Dam - the photos could have been Loch Lomond - was very enjoyable, as was the picnic lunch.

There was an open-air wedding taking place on the grass and I tried to blip two little girl guests in their pretty pink dresses, but couldn't get close enough.

In the afternoon we made our way over to the River district to visit N#2 and her family, then ambled along with them to Town Centre Plaza to an open-air concert by a Vancouver band called The Boom Booms. We bought our supper from the above vegan street food van and I had my first ever kasum pita. Yum!
