Poppies for remembrance....

Wey hey! Yesterday's sunset did deliver a beautiful day and we all enjoyed a lovely walk in the Cambridgeshire countryside, suitably dressed in wellies and fleeces.

It was also Remembrance Day. I took a picture of the poppy trees in town earlier this week, on a dull day. Today I went back to them again and the blue sky was a perfect background for the bright red.

I have a friend whose father was killed in the last world war just before she was born. Today is a difficult day for her.
