Harvested Oats

These oats were not a bad crop, better than we had thought from that specific field and the moisture level was just inside the required measurement.  If the quality is good enough they will be going for porridge!

Extra photo: a Black Arches moth (Lymantria monacha).  I took a blip of this species back in 2014!  It lives amongst oaks and on the Continent it can be considered a real pest as it consumes pine needles and can kill the trees if there is an infestation.
