to Demonstrate
On Saturday afternoon one assisted at the Isle of Man Beekeepers' Apiary at Marown. The buildings and grounds were formerly used as a primary school.
They still have an educational use in that the beekeepers have taken a lease so as to be able to place beehives just behind the stone wall, seen here, and assist new beekeepers.
So we went through all the five bee hives and they are chocked full of honey. It was really satisfying to see the hives in such a good state.
However the best part of any beekeeping meeting is having the tea afterwards. That is always memorable.
