A spot of rest

We went to see Marie’s puppies today, always a pleasure. Then some book reading in the garden, a decision that I needed another day off, roast chicken and gammon for tea with a big pile of leftovers and a swim in the sea for me and Rosie with Jay doing important stone throwing duties from the shallower waters.

Daisy has popped off to the fair/ for a swim, now le tour, I am hugely looking forward to see how this all turns out next week.
