Home for this Week

After the many hours of travel yesterday, we were always going to have a lazy day today. I (Chris) was up earlier than the rest of the house so I had a good look around the house and garden whilst it was quiet. The key holder we met at 10pm last night, popped in again with some extra instructions including the location of the nearest supermarket and bakery. Annie and I then had a quick dash out to get food for the next day or so.

This afternoon we’ve been having a quiet time before all ending up in the pool later on.The weather was building up all afternoon with the feeling of an incoming storm although very warm. Finally about 7pm, as we were finishing dinner, spectacular thunder and lightning appeared. We enjoyed watching (from inside!).
