Hot Air Day

Our social life has peaked this weekend. Yesterday a very good old friend from uni dropped by for lunch with his wife. I went to their wedding over 40 years ago. And today we were invited to a buffet lunch garden party at a neighbour's house. We had to leave that a bit early as we had a message from daughter#1 to say they had just arrived at our house. They are staying with us for the week, and we were dying to see our grandson Rory. 

There was a good amount of hot air at the party, and then this evening we spotted these two balloons. I got a sharper shot with the burner going on one of them (see extra), but I liked the composition of this one better with the blurry treetops in the foreground, and the wood pigeons.
