TOMMY

Still on a high from yesterday. My return journey home today saw me at Souter Lighthouse and Seaham.
Souter lighthouse was the first electric powered lighthouse in the UK and . . . I got to sound the foghorn . . . no . . . not using my voice . . . just a huge button like those in comedy films when you blow up a building.
I then travelled back down the coast to Seaham to capture a magnificent Ray Lonsdale sculpture of a World War One Tommy . . . something I have wanted to do for ages.
