Afternoon Tea Party

A lovely day, starting with a forecast that suggested it would remain warm but predominantly cloudy throughout the day and evening.

We were due at a tea party for my cousin's **th birthday party (of course a gentleman never reveals a lady's age!).  Anyway about an hour before the invited time the sun peaked through and then the clouds literally dissolved from the sky.  When we arrived there was a premium on shade, so hot had it become.  We enjoyed a delightful afternoon and evening in the garden.  I'd say that the sun shines on the righteous, or at least on the birthday girl.
