Pine Cone

Taking Frida for walks takes us into great pine coning country. We are using so many cones to light our fire every day, so have a great stack in our woodshed.
This is the first time I've ever looked at a cone up close...thank you Blipfoto for making me pay attention to things that are around me. I think this simple pine cone is quite beautiful.
