Mono Monday - Vices and Virtues

Thank you to si_b for coming up with these interesting challenges for July.
I have been waiting patiently for the Nigella flowers to drop and leave the seed heads.  I love the flowers but the seed heads are spectacular.  I took this shot with the grainy black and white setting on my camera.  In mono I feel they have the look of fireworks lifting into the night sky.  So it is with a certain amount of pride and a lot of humility, I present my entry for the challenge.
