Just cruisin'

This morning I had a walk from Ellesmere along the canal. There were lots of boats moored or cruising along - a sure sign that the schools have broken up for summer.

Part way along the towpath I saw a man with his dog. He said "Do you still play concertina?" I couldn't place him at all until he told me that he plays guitar at a session that I sometimes go to. How embarrassing!
He didn't seem to mind my forgetfulness and we chatted as we walked.

I passed this boat going under a canal bridge, the couple on the bridge had jumped off the boat to take a photo as it passed below.
