Melbourne Zoo

Another thing to check off the Tourist Things To Do in Melbourne list! I'd say that about 90% of the animals were sleeping but this koala was kind enough to give us a bit of a show, climbing around, eating his eucalyptus, and pretty much just being adorable. Apparently there are lots of places that they're just hanging out in the trees in the wild so I really want to find some! Not in Melbourne though. There is zero wildlife in Melbourne. I was excited the other day to see a opossum. There are a couple of other zoos in Melbourne as well that I'd really like to go to. One is an open range zoo and the other is a sanctuary for injured/orphaned animals but apparently that one is mostly just birds.
