Chocolate Brownies

Simon made a batch of Brownies to share for Lori’s up and coming Birthday. Some of us aren’t going to be around on the day but never miss a chance to celebrate.
This was a Barefoot Contessa recipe (aka Ina Garten) which apparently never fails, but it’s not for the faint hearted or anyone even thinking about a diet. I wonder if she’s barefoot because after a batch of these she can’t get her shoes on.
