Kingfisher

After many trips on the broads this year and in previous ones i have finally succeeded in getting a decent shot of a Kingfisher!
Normally all you see is a bright blue flash as they dash in and out of the trees as they seem pretty shy birds.
This guy was sat in a tree only a few feet from where we were moored and even showed off by diving for fish twice ( i missed that!)result!
I took lots of shots but I like this one best as you can see most of him, despite the foliage..
Earlier in the week we saw an otter ( another final first) and he even had a big fish in his paws, but my camera was not to hand and I missed it! Drat! Lesson learned!
