Snugglin'

The Sierra Nevada has the highest diversity of chipmunk species in the world, with at least nine species. They are difficult to tell apart; range, habitat, and coloration patterns provide clues. It's especially difficult to tell the difference late in the season...which is to say, I can't tell. Super cute anyways!
