The Boyfriend

Mabel is madly in love with this handsome young fellow.  His name is Duncan, and he lives next door in the guest house.  Whenever I let her out, she runs over to sit under his living room window, and then proceeds to "serenade" him with a high-pitched series of yips, moans, and sighs.  He, on his side of the window, reciprocates with more high-pitched yips and barks until his mom lets him out for a joyous reunion with his low-slung gal.  They are so cute together -- quite similar in size, except that Duncan has longer legs -- as they race around in giddy circles on the lawn.
