Inside Out
Dear Diary,
What a strange day yesterday was. It poured and then the sun came out and then it poured again. In between showers, John was able to tidy up the garden, well, most of it. He'll need to come back next week to continue. This time of year, it is a continual job of dead heading. The humidity rose during the day to almost tropical conditions. As the old timers say, you can almost chew the air it is so thick.
This is my potting shed during one of the brief times of sun. The sun came in an upper window and glinted off some of the tools. I found it really hard to be out in the steamy heat. It certainly feels more like Mexico than Maine. I guess the whole week will be like this so I will need to work between the showers and stay in front of fan the rest of the time.
