Purdy

Purdy is finding the weather uncomfortably hot in her fur coat; she is spending most days curled up in the deep shade under the hedge.  We make sure she has plenty of water available both inside the house and in the garden in nice clean dishes but she does seem to prefer the water in the bird bath.  Her technique is to stand up and then dip a paw into the water and lick it.  I think I remember seeing an advert on the television years ago featuring a white cat that would eat its meat this way - perhaps we should sign her up with an agency!
