Castle in a cloud

Actual rain today in Portugal (I know some of you in the UK will have forgotten what that feels like). We took ourselves off to Sintra along with the population of Lisbon - or it felt like it anyway, cars, pedestrians and frayed tempers everywhere.

Visited the old Moorish castle for fabulous views....only there was a slight problem.

We’re still smiling though and enjoying a beer in the ‘evening’ sunshine.
